NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (May 25, 2022) – A crash on the southbound side of the 101 freeway in North Hollywood injured 2 people that had to be taken to the hospital according to CBS 2 News.
The crash occurred around 4:10 a.m. near Lankershim Boulevard and involved at least five vehicles. One vehicle hit a center divider, and another ended up on its side, leaving one person unconscious and two taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The accident caused all lanes on the southbound side of the 101 to be closed, and officials issued a Sigalert that lasted for several hours. One lane reportedly opened up by 6:30 a.m.
Further details regarding the names of the victims or the extent of their injures is yet unknown.
