Bakersfield, CA (September 11, 2023) – One person lost their life on Sunday, September 10th, in a tragic collision on Highway 99 outside of Bakersfield. The accident was reported around 5:16 a.m. in the area of Sherwood Avenue.
The cars involved included a white pickup truck and a grey sedan, which collided violently. The force of the crash pushed one of the vehicles off the road, causing serious injury to the occupant.

On individual sadly succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is yet to be revealed.
