One Injured In Reno Collision On E. 2nd Street

2 injured in 3-vehicle collision in Citrus Heights.

Reno, NV (June 26, 2024) An accident at the intersection of S. Wells Avenue and E. 2nd Street in Reno left one person injured. The collision occurred just after 3:00 a.m. while most of Reno was sleeping. The injured person was taken to a local hospital following the accident, officers reported.

Sirens filled the early morning and emergency lights lit up the dark sky as authorities made their way to the scene of a collision. Two vehicles had collided near the intersection of S. Wells Avenue and E. 2nd Street in Reno, in what some would consider the middle of the night. The 911 call was received right around 3:10 a.m., according to reports.

When authorities arrived, they found damaged vehicles in the roadway and debris was thrown all over the intersection. The exact number of vehicles involved in this collision has not been disclosed, but reports indicated that at least one person was injured. Paramedics arrived at the scene and began treating victims before taking them to the hospital for further evaluation. Officers gathered evidence at the scene and are working diligently to piece together what happened at this Reno intersection.

Officers had to close the road for a significant amount of time as they investigated the collision. Tow trucks were called to not only remove large pieces of debris from the intersection, but to also move the badly damaged vehicles. Workers began removing the smaller pieces of the debris and glass from the roadway as well. Officers are working to determine what exactly happened to cause this crash. They are also determined to figure out who was responsible.
