One Killed On State Route 125 In Spring Valley

3 injured in single-vehicle rollover crash in Templeton.

Spring Valley, CA (March 11, 2024) A fatal collision in the middle of the night rattled the community of Spring Valley on Sunday. Word spread quickly of the traumatic single-vehicle collision that claimed a life on State Route 125.

A blue Honda Civic headed along State Route 125 when, for reasons still unknown, the driver lost control. The sound of tires squealing and metal colliding filled the dark night before settling into quiet once again. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene at 2:00 a.m., their flashing lights illuminating the darkness and sirens cutting through the early morning silence. They arrived at the scene and stopped quickly, paramedics rushed to the damaged vehicle to help anyone who was injured. They found one person who was unresponsive. Paramedics did everything they could, but unfortunately, they pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Officers gathered evidence and awaited the coroner as well as a tow truck. Crews cleared debris from the roadway as officers tried to make sense of what happened. They are determined to learn what caused this fatal accident on State Route 125 and why the victim lost their life.
