Carson, CA (October 25, 2023) – A motorcyclist was injured on Wednesday, October 25th, after a severe motorcycle accident on Interstate 405 in Carson, California. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. in the area south of Main Street.
The CHP reported that a the motorcycle rider collided with a white Honda Civic and went down in the No. 1 lane on the northbound side of the freeway. Both the motorcycle and the car had to be removed from the road by tow trucks.

The Los Angeles Fire Department dispatched paramedics to the scene where they quickly located the injured motorcyclist in the HOV lane. According to the paramedics the rider was injured but described as “awake and breathing” when they were found. The rider received medical attention at the scene, but it is unknown whether they were taken to the hospital
Police are investigating the motorcycle accident on Interstate 405, including an inquiry into fault for the collision.
