Santa Maria, CA (September 11, 2024) Another California collision occurred in the middle of the night in Santa Maria. It was approximately 1:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, when two vehicles collided on Skyway Drive, not far from Auto Park Drive, leaving two people with serious injuries.

Just after 1 o’clock in the morning, two vehicles collided for reasons that remain a mystery. The collision occurred on Skyway Drive, not far from Auto Park Drive in Santa Maria. The accident left the two vehicles sitting in the middle of the roadway, surrounded by debris.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found one person trapped inside one of the cars. Firefighters used specialized tools to free the victim before carefully placing them on a stretcher and loading them into an ambulance. Paramedics transported them to a hospital in the area to receive further medical care. Another person was found with serious injuries as well. They were also taken to a hospital to receive emergency medical care.

Officers are unsure what caused this accident, but have reported that the investigation remains ongoing. They are working to determine not only what caused this accident, but also, who was at fault.
