BURLINGAME, CA (NOVEMBER 10, 2023): One person was seriously injured following a two-vehicle collision on a highway in Burlingame on Thursday.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place on Thursday, November 9th around 4:48 a.m. on the northbound side of Highway 101, just north of the Broadway off-ramp, when vehicles collided under unclear circumstances.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly after, and discovered one occupant of a vehicle in serious condition. The injured individual was treated by responding paramedics, and their condition was only described as severe in preliminary reports.
It is assumed the victim was hospitalized, but this was not explicitly stated in initial reports by the CHP. Identifying information regarding the victim or their exact injuries were unknown. It is unclear if they were a driver or a passenger.
