(Pine Cove CA) A car accident killed Cheryl Brault while driving in Pine Cove.
Around 5:00 p.m. Monday, Officer Jonathan Torrez said a motorist reported a single-car crash on Mount Edna Road near Highway 243.
The California Highway Patrol reported Cheryl Brault, 71, drove a 1998 Grand Jeep Cherokee at the time of the accident.
When Riverside County Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene, they found Brault’s Jeep Cherokee over the mountainside, with Brault dead at the wheel.
Officials are still unsure where the victim may have been going when the SUV went over the side and resulted in the single-car crash.
