Randee Mendosa Deceased In Head-On Turlock Crash

Turlock, CA (July 16, 2024) An accident took place on Lander Avenue in Turlock near West Simmons Road on Monday, July 15.

A woman was driving a Ford Fusion westbound as a big-rig was coming from the opposite direction. For unknown reasons, the woman veered into the opposite lane and the two vehicles collided head-on. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.

Tragically, when emergency crews and police responded, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as 38-year-old Randee Mendosa. The driver of the big-rig suffered minor injuries, reports say.

The crash closed Lander Avenue in both directions between Simmons and West Glenwood as officers investigated and debris was cleaned up.
