San Jose, CA (July 22, 2024) A collision involving four vehicles occurred on State Route 87 on Friday afternoon, July 19th. The collision left two people with injuries, according to reports, and caused major traffic delays. It all happened around 12:30 p.m. near the Julian Street off-ramp, in San Jose.
Reports indicated that a green work truck, a white truck, a large gray work pickup truck and one other vehicle all collided on State Route 87. Officers are still not sure what caused this accident, but are working as quickly and diligently as they can to determine what happened. The vehicles blocked a portion of the highway and caused traffic delays, according to reports. The green work truck blocked lanes one and lanes two and was leaking orange fluid all over the roadway. The accident quickly became a hazard, officers reported.
