Fontana, CA (July 12, 2024) The community of Fontana was shocked following a two-vehicle collision that left several people with injuries. It all happened on Friday morning, July 12th, at the intersection of Almeria Avenue and Baseline Avenue, according to reports.
Commuters were driving through the intersection of Almeria Avenue and Baseline Avenue on Friday morning, when two vehicles suddenly collided. The two vehicles sustained enough damage that they sat in the intersection, blocking the roadway. Debris littered the intersection, as well, reports indicated. Dispatch began receiving 911 calls about the accident and authorities responded.
Police officers arrived at the scene and found the two vehicles in the middle of the roadway and checked to see if any occupants were injured. The exact number of those who were injured has not been disclosed, but officers reported that there were multiple injuries following this accident. Paramedics arrived and immediately began treating and evaluating victims.
