North Hollywood, CA (September 16, 2024) A two-vehicle collision in North Hollywood left three people with serious injuries on Sunday evening, September 15th, 2024. The collision occurred on Oxnard Street, between Vineland Avenue and Lankershim Boulevard, around 6:45 p.m.
Officers were called to the 11200 block of Oxnard Street on Sunday evening, September 15th, following a two-vehicle collision. Officers described the North Hollywood accident as “violent,” according to reports. It happened around 6:45 p.m. and left both vehicles totaled. Footage of the incident showed debris scattered all over the scene. Witnesses told police officers that a woman was thrown from one of the vehicles and “covered in blood.”

The Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene and found the two vehicles completely totaled. They reported that three victims were trapped inside their vehicle. Firefighters used specialized tools to remove them and all three were rushed to a nearby hospital, via ambulance, in serious condition.
Officers at the scene gathered evidence and took statements from witnesses. They are determined to piece together what happened on Oxnard Street in North Hollywood that evening. Crews cleaned up the debris and tow trucks were called to remove both damaged vehicles from the scene, reports indicated.
