Redondo Beach, CA (September 20, 2023) 1 person was killed and another injured after a 2-vehicle collision in Redondo Beach on Monday, September, 18, 2023. One of the drivers was accused of driving while impaired.

The Redondo Police Department reported that the collision took place at Artesia Boulevard and Rindge Lane around 6:40 p.m. They referred to the accident as a “severe traffic collision.”
One of the drivers, identified only as a female, died at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was injured and taken to a local hospital, but was accused of driving while impaired, according to police officers.
The driver could be facing charges of felony vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
