San Diego, CA (October 12, 2023) 2 people sustained serious injuries in a collision in Allied Gardens, according to the San Diego Police Department. Officer C. Hanna of the San Diego Police Department, said the accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. and involved a parked tractor trailer.

A gray 2015 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 38-year-old man, was heading north in the 7300 block of Princess View Drive. Without warning he crashed into the back of a tractor trailer that was parked in the street.
The driver and the passenger were both transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, according to Hanna. The driver had a laceration to his head and the passenger had a fractured left arm and pelvis.
Officer Hanna stated that they believe alcohol was a factor in this collision.
