CLOVIS, CA (June 21, 2022) – Ashton McKiearnan, 41, was tragically killed by a drunk driver in Clovis on Father’s day according to ABC 30 News.
The crash occurred Sunday night in the Tarpey Village area on Ashlan near Sunnyside Avenue.
The alleged drunk driver was named as Narayana Zerr, and was booked into Fresno County Jail for felony DUI along with other charges.
Friends and family remember McKiearnan for his contributions to the community, including volunteering for a search and rescue unit and working for American Ambulance. He was also a radio show host for local station KRZR.
Ashton McKiearnan is survived by two children and wife.
The two small children were also injured in the crash, one of whom has multiple broken bones. McKiearnan’s wife also suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital as well.
