California Highway Patrol officers say that a Hyundai Elantra veered off the road and collided into some rocks, while a Toyota Tundra clipped the Hyundai from behind, then into two other vehicles.
ABC News reports that several people were suffering from injuries, including the Hyundai driver who appeared to have the most serious injuries.
CHP officers arrested the driver of the Hyundai for driver under the influence.
