Venice, CA (September 28, 2023) Israel DeAvila was arrested on Monday for driving under the influence and hitting a pedestrian on the Venice Boardwalk. He was caught on video drinking a beer while driving down the Venice Boardwalk before he hit the pedestrian, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

DeAvila was driving on Ocean Front Walk while drinking a beer when he hit and injured a pedestrian on Rose Avenue, according to the LAPD. The pedestrian sustained non-serious injuries and was treated and released following the collision.
Police said that DeAvila refused to get out of the car at first, but they were eventually able to remove him. He was arrested for driving under the influence and assault with a deadly weapon.
