Turlock, CA (September 26, 2023) A man was killed in a rollover accident in Turlock, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for suspected DUI.
Leah Doucette, 30, was driving east on State Route 120 near Rushing Hill Lookout when she suddenly swerved off the road. She tried to correct the mishap and ended up losing control of the car, which overturned.

Doucette was thrown from her vehicle during the collision, but managed to survive. She did sustain severe injuries, though. Her passenger, and 42-year-old Salida man was killed in the collision.
Doucette was taken to Memorial Medical Center for treatment for injuries she sustained in the accident. Following her release from the hospital, she was arrested. The accident is still under investigation.
