Perris DUI Crash Involves Four Cars on I-215

4 injured when police pursuit ends in a collision in Rancho Murieta.

Perris, CA (July 10, 2024) A frightening crash occurred on I-215 at State Route 74 this morning.

California Highway Patrol has reported that a little after 7 a.m., they were notified of a bad crash that involved four cars. A witness made the call to CHP.

Cal Fire and the Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene immediately. It’s unclear at this time how many people were involved, but at least one person was taken to the hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.

An investigation is ongoing to figure out the circumstances surrounding this terrible collision. Early details show that drugs or alcohol may have been involved; a felony DUI has been reported. The vehicles involved include a white Mazda 6, a green Mitsubishi Mirage, and two other cars that have not been described in early reports.
