LEMOORE, CA (July 5, 2022) – Santana Yanez, 26, of Lemoore, killed two men in a suspected DUI crash in Lemoore on Friday.
Your Central Valley reports that Yanez was driving his Toyota eastbound on Jersey Avenue at a high rate of speed when he crashed into two men in a Nissan minivan pulling out of the parking lot of Tachi Palace Casino Resort.
The driver of the minivan was identified as a 63-year-old man, and his passenger, a 52-year-old man.
Both men in the minivan died on the scene after Santana Yanez was unable to stop his speeding car and crashed into the minivan.
CHP officers say Yanez appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested. He was also injured as a result of the crash and transported to a nearby hospital via helicopter.
