Elizabeth Sanchez Gomez Bakersfield: Elizabeth Gomez Injured In Bakersfield Hit-And-Run Car Accident at parking lot of La Villa Meat Market on California Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA (November 19, 2020) – A 42-year-old woman identified as Elizabeth Gomez was injured in a BMW hit-and-run car accident at a grocery store parking lot along California Avenue.
Bakersfield police officials are saying that the accident took place on October 7th. The driver of a BMW spun out of control and struck Elizabeth Sanchez Gomez as she was walking to her van.
The driver of the BMW fled the scene. Paramedics were called to the La Villa Meat Market. She was taken to the hospital in order to receive treatment for a broken leg.
More than 1 month after the accident she is still recovering and able to move around with the aid of crutches. An investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
