San Diego, CA (January 11, 2024) Two motorcyclists were injured in a hit-and-run crash on Wednesday night, January 10th. The San Diego Police Department stated that the accident happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Grand Avenue in Pacific Beach.
The two motorcyclists, one a 23-year-old man and the other a 22-year-old man, were traveling east on Grand Avenue when a 2002 Honda Civic suddenly appeared and hit them. San Diego Police Department Officer John Buttle said the Honda was driving west on Grand Avenue and turned left onto Bayard Street directly in front of the two motorcycles.

Police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene and found both motorcyclists injured. One of the motorcyclists suffered two broken fingers and a bruised pelvis and bladder. The other motorcyclist complained of pain, according to authorities, but the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
The San Diego Police Department Traffic Division is investigating this accident in Pacific Beach. They are determined to find the 2002 Honda Civic that fled the scene and bring the driver to justice.
