Chad M. Gueltzow Killed In Hesperia Motorcycle Crash

Motorcyclist killed in Hesperia

Hesperia, CA (November 5, 2024) A motorcycle collision on Highway 173 in Hesperia claimed the life of 28-year-old Chad M. Gueltzow on November 1st. The collision happened just after 2:00 p.m. The father of two was pronounced dead at the scene, officers reported.

It was a fall afternoon in Hesperia as Gueltzow and friends rode their motorcycles along Highway 173. Gueltzow was riding a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle when he was struck by a 2023 Chevrolet Volt. The impact threw him onto the road, leaving his motorcycle badly damaged.

First responders arrived at the scene and found Gueltzow on the ground. They rushed to his side, prepared to give him life-saving medical treatment, but found that he had already succumbed to his injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.

Officers continue to investigate this accident and are determined to piece together what happened on that stretch of Highway 173 in Hesperia. They are also working to uncover who was at fault.
