Motorcyclist, 19, Killed In Vegas Crash On Fort Apache

Las Vegas, NV (October 9, 2024) A 19-year-old motorcyclist was tragically killed in a traffic accident on October 7 around 11 p.m. It happened at the intersection of Fort Apache Road and Desert Inn Road.

The young man was riding a 2023 Suzuki DRZ400 motorcycle north on Fort Apache Road and was approaching the intersection. At the same time, a 2008 BMW 528i was turning left from southbound Fort Apache to eastbound Desert Inn.

Witnesses say the BMW had a flashing yellow arrow as it made the turn. The motorcycle then slammed into the passenger side of the BMW.

The BMW driver remained at the scene and was not impaired. Paramedics tragically pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
