Las Vegas, NV (October 10, 2024) A motorcyclist was airlifted following a collision with another vehicle on Interstate 80 in Las Vegas. The two collided at approximately 6:15 p.m., just west of USA Parkway, according to police reports.
The Motorcyclist was riding west on westbound Interstate 80 when it suddenly collided with another vehicle. The impact sent the rider flying through the air, causing serious injuries upon landing. The motorcycle slid several feet before coming to a stop. The driver of the other vehicle immediately stopped and waited for authorities.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the rider on the ground with life-threatening injuries. A medical helicopter was requested to rush the victim to a hospital. Care Flight arrived and transported the rider to receive emergency medical attention.
Officers questioned the driver of the other vehicle and investigated the scene before the motorcycle was hauled away. They are working to determine not only what caused this collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle, but also, who was responsible.
