A crash that occurred yesterday morning left a motorcyclist with a serious injury. The San Diego Police Department responded to the scene at the 2800 block of Main Street. The collision apparently occurred a little before 9:30 a.m.
Reports say that a 47-year-old man was in a 2022 Toyota C-HR. He was driving eastbound. Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man was riding his motorcycle westbound.
Details are still unfolding, but for some unknown reason, the man in the Toyota made a sudden left turn in front of the 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle. The 20-year-old smashed right into the Toyota.
Authorities and medics rushed to the scene, where they found the motorcyclist with serious injuries. It is reported that he had a broken leg. An ambulance immediately rushed him to the hospital for treatment. At this time, there have been no reports that the driver of the Toyota was injured. The investigation is still ongoing.
