Concord, CA (October 9, 2024) A three-vehicle collision, including a motorcycle, occurred in Concord on Tuesday morning, October 8th, 2024. The collision left the motorcyclist with non-life-threatening injuries, reports indicated. It happened on State Route 242, not far from Concord Avenue, around 8:22 a.m.
Reports indicated that a gray sedan and a motorcycle collided in the fast lane of SR-242 for unknown reasons. A third vehicle was also involved, but officers are still working to determine what exactly happened. The collision left the rider of the motorcycle lying in the No. 2 lane of State Route 242.
Authorities arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist on the ground with injuries. Paramedics first evaluated the rider at the scene. The rider’s injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, however it is unknown if the victim was taken to a hospital or treated at the scene.
