The accident occurred right around 5:45 p.m. and claimed the motorcyclist’s life, officers reported.
A 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading north on Old Highway 80 on Monday evening. At the same time, a Toyota Corolla was traveling south and attempted to turn left into the casino parking lot. The driver of the Toyota failed to yield for the motorcycle and turned directly in front of it. The motorcyclist slammed into the Toyota, according to reports. The impact sent the motorcyclist flying through the air before he landed, hard, on the pavement.
Emergency personnel hurried to the scene and found the motorcyclist on the ground, motionless.
