(Aguanga, CA) Head-on crash on Highway 371 near Aguanga puts both motorcycle riders in critical conditions.
Riverside County officials report the motorcycle crash occurred at 12:57 p.m. Thursday, east of Puckit Drive by the Cahuilla Indian Reservation.
The head-on collision critically injured both motorists, which required firefighters to help free the trapped victims from their motorcycles.
Riverside County Fire Department reports multiple engine crews were sent to the wreckage site, prompting them to initiate a cut-and-rescue operation.
An ambulance took both victims to Lake Riverside Airport, a nearby private field to airlift them to a regional trauma center for treatment.
