Sanger, CA (March 8, 2024) Sorrow spread through the town of Sanger on Thursday evening as the word spread of 11-year-old Jameson Doyle’s death. The boy was hit by a pickup truck, according to reports, at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Cherry Avenue.
It was a Thursday evening in Sanger as 11-year-old Jameson Doyle walked near Rotary Ball Park on Cherry Avenue. A Chevrolet pickup truck was driving down the same road and, for reasons unknown, struck the boy. The boy sustained life-threatening injuries and the driver of the pickup remained at his side as they waited for help.
Police officers with the Sanger Police Department arrived at the scene and found Doyle lying on the ground in critical condition. Officers tried to save the boy’s life, but it was too late. Sadly, Jameson Doyle was pronounced dead at the scene.
