Los Angeles, CA (September 28, 2023) 2 pedestrians were struck and injured on Thursday afternoon when 2 vehicles collided, sending one crashing into a business. The accident happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. on the 6000 block of West Pico Boulevard in the Carthay neighborhood of West Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that 2 pedestrians, who were inside the building, were actually struck after the two vehicles collided. A black Mercedes-Benz SUV and a white Chevrolet pickup were seen with visible damage following the collision.

The pickup ended up on the sidewalk after it crashed through a glass door of Sinai Adult Day Health Care. The program director for the business reported that a female staff member in her 60s and a male client in this 80s were both struck by the pickup when it crashed into the lobby. They were both taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
It was still unclear if any occupants in the vehicles required medical attention. This accident is still under investigation.
