San Fernando, CA (November 6, 2024) An early morning pedestrian accident claimed the life of Antonio Robles, 48, on Tuesday, October 5th, 2024, in San Fernando. The accident occurred on the Glenoaks Boulevard off-ramp, near Ronald Reagan (118) Westbound Freeway.

It was approximately 5:45 a.m. in San Fernando as Robles walked along the Glenoaks Boulevard off-ramp. As he walked, a vehicle approached in the darkness. For reasons that remain unknown, the vehicle struck the pedestrian, knocking Robles to the ground.

The California Highway Patrol quickly arrived at the scene and found Robles on the ground with fatal injuries. Sadly, officers pronounced Robles dead at the scene and placed a tarp over the victim’s body, as they waited for the coroner to arrive at the scene.

Officers gathered evidence and took statements at the scene. They are working to better understand what exactly happened in San Fernando that morning. They closed the off-road ramp during the initial investigation at the scene, according to reports. Motorists were asked to find a different route.
