VAN NUYS, CA (July 5, 2022) – Christopher Berry, 39, of Indianapolis, was identified as the victim who was struck by a car on the 405 freeway in Van Nuys.
Patch reports that Berry was walking on the 405 freeway Friday at around 1:46 a.m. when he was struck and killed by a vehicle south of Burbank Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the driver who struck Christopher Berry remained at the scene while the incident was investigated.
The collision caused the closure of both northbound and southbound lanes of the 405 for several hours.
