The story begins with Linder getting into an argument with one of her neighbors, according to reports. After yelling and screaming at each other, Linger pulled out a can of pepper spray and sprayed the neighbor in the face. She then hurried to her car and jumped in. She drove away as if she was leaving the area. However, instead of leaving, Linder made a U-turn in the street and drove back to where her neighbor was standing, still suffering from the blast of pepper spray she had received moments before.
Linder didn’t slow down and aimed her vehicle at the neighbor. Before the neighbor knew what was happening, Linder’s car struck her. Linder then drove away, leaving the neighbor seriously injured.
Officers received the call about a woman hitting another woman with her car and then driving away. They arrived at the scene with paramedics who quickly transported the woman to a local hospital with serious injuries.
A short while later, officers found Linder not too far from where the hit-and-run collision had occurred. Linder was arrested and is facing attempted murder charges, according to the Clovis Police Department.
