Oakland, CA (September 10, 2023) A man was laying in an Oakland road when he was run over by a pickup on Friday, September 8, 2023. The fatal collision occurred around 10:30 a.m., according to authorities.

It happened in the 9100 block of International Boulevard. Witnesses told police officers that a man was lying in the road when a pickup came along and struck him. Authorities do not know why the man was lying in the roadway, and the accident is still under investigation.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and authorities are trying to figure out whether or not the pickup saw the man.
