Sacramento, CA (November 12, 2024) 64-year-old Muhammad Saddique was struck and killed at what is consider one of the most dangerous intersections in Sacramento. The retired grandfather enjoyed walking his granddaughter home from school. However, on September 9th, he was struck by a passing bus while on his way to Natomas Park, according to reports.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Club Center Drive and Banfield Drive, around 8:30 a.m. It is the same intersection that has claimed other lives, as well. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found Saddique on the ground with fatal injuries.
His tragic death led the city of Sacramento to re-stripe the crosswalks in the neighborhood, in hopes of preventing pedestrian accidents.
