One Killed, One Arrested In Las Vegas Hit-And-Run Collision

Several Injured in Las Vegas collision on N Pecos Rd.

Las Vegas, NV (March 12, 2024) The community of central Las Vegas Valley was shocked this morning as they awoke to news of a deadly hit-and-run. The deadly accident took place around 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of South Valley View Boulevard and West Sahara Avenue, officers reported.

A press release revealed that a 2015 Nissan 370Z was driving east on West Sahara Avenue by 29-year-old Angelo Pascua. At the same time, a 34-year-old man from Las Vegas was crossing West Sahara Avenue, but he was doing so outside of a designated crosswalk. The Nissan slammed into the pedestrian and then, hit the gas and continued driving until the vehicle was out of sight.

Police officers arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian lying on the ground with fatal injuries. Sadly, he did not survive the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
