Pedestrian Killed in Sylmar by SUV on Foothill Blvd.

Pedestrian struck and killed by hit-and-run driver on Old Highway 18 in Apple Valley.

Sylmar, CA (June 25, 2024)

A tragedy occurred early Monday morning. At about 2:15 a.m., a man was walking across a street in Sylmar when he was struck by an SUV. He was reportedly walking on Foothill Boulevard at Arroyo Street.

The Los Angeles Police Department reports that the pedestrian, who was about 60 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV that fatally struck the man stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities who were investigating the accident. At the time of writing, we do not know the identity of the pedestrian who was tragically killed.
