Sherman Oaks, CA (September 23, 2024) A hit-and-run accident in Sherman Oaks left a 63-year-old female pedestrian seriously injured, officers reported. The accident took place on Ventura Boulevard, not far from Costello Avenue, just before 6:00 p.m.

A 63-year-old woman was walking along Ventura Boulevard when she was struck by a black sedan, according to surveillance footage. Reports indicated that the vehicle stopped several feet ahead, briefly, before continuing down the road and out of sight. The pedestrian was left with serious injuries Emergency crews arrived at the scene and rushed the pedestrian to a local hospital to receive treatment.

Officers investigated the scene and examined surveillance footage, but are asking the public to help with this case.
