Stockton, CA (October 18, 2023) A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle on Tuesday, October 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident took place on Waterloo Road/SR-88 off-ramp to Highway 99 in Stockton, around 12:11 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol reported that a pedestrian was struck by a silver pickup truck for unknown reasons. Someone called 911 and reported a pedestrian lying on the sidewalk and said the pickup was stopped in the roadway, blocking traffic.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene to help the pedestrian who sustained minor injuries in the collision.
This accident is being investigated to determine fault and cause in this collision.
