Huntington Beach, CA (September 11, 2023) A man was killed Sunday night after he was hit by an SUV, according to the Huntington Beach Police Departmen’s Jessica Chuchilla. The accident took place right around 10:00 p.m., according to reports.
It happened on Beach Boulevard, just north of Speer Drive. Authorities stated that the man was killed on a major city street, south of Slater Avenue. A 2003 Lincoln Navigator, driven by a 33-year-old Huntington Beach woman, was traveling south on Beach Boulevard, in lane number 4.

The vehicle struck the pedestrian and he was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. He later died at the hospital.
The woman who hit him remained at the scene and cooperated with police officers. The Huntington Beach Police Department Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team was investigating the accident.
