Riverside, CA (August 11, 2023) A pedestrian, described only as a man, was killed Thursday evening when he was hit by a vehicle on Good Hope Street. The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened around 7:40 p.m.
The pedestrian was walking at the intersection of San Jacinto Avenue and Old Elsinore Road, which is not quite 2 miles west of Perris. CHP said that a sedan ran into the pedestrian on Old Elsinore Road. The driver immediately stopped and called 911.

Riverside County Fire Department Paramedics arrived on the scene and found the pedestrian lying in the road. They pronounced him dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was questioned by officers but was not arrested.
No other information is available and this accident is still under investigation.
