Saugus, CA (August 10, 2023) A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Saugus on Wednesday morning. Esteban Benitez, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, said the accident happened around 11:15 a.m.
The collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle occurred on Banquet Canyon Road near Newhall Ranch Road. A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and sustained injuries. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Los Angeles County Fire Department said they are still investigating what happened to cause this accident.
