Sacramento County, CA (June 27, 2024) A young man was tragically killed on June 15 on a North Highlands road.
A little after 8 p.m. that day, Shawn Jordan was walking alone to his dad’s house after spending the day with his partner. He was on the north end of an overpass that crosses Roseville Road. There is reportedly no sidewalk where he was.
Another man in the vicinity heard a crash and ran to find Jordan laid out on the ground. The person who struck Jordan with their vehicle fled the scene. Thankfully, the man who ran to help called police.
Now, CHP is looking for a red Mitsubishi Lancer, a four-door sedan, that was made somewhere between 2000 and 2003. They believe it would have front-end damage from the collision. Their North Sacramento office is hoping anyone with information will give them a call right away.
The day after the crash, Shawn Jordan slipped into a coma. Later, he passed away from his injuries.
