Turlock, CA (July 17, 2024) A man from Turlock was left with major injuries following a horrific pedestrian accident that happened on June 23.
Turlock Police, Turlock Fire, and American Medical Response were dispatched to the scene at about 3:20 a.m. that day. It was located in the 500 block of West Hawkeye Avenue. When they arrived, they discovered that a car had hit a pedestrian so hard that the victim went through the front windshield and was partially ejected through the rear windshield.
Thankfully the victim (identified as 40-year-old Stephen Grant of Turlock) survived, but his injuries were critical. He was found unconscious and rushed to a hospital. As of the latest report, he was in critical but stable condition.
Turlock Police reported that they do not believe the driver was under the influence.
