PANORAMA CITY, CA (OCTOBER 2, 2023): A woman was killed while walking her dog Monday morning in a hit-and-run in Panorama City.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a traffic incident at around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Burnett Avenue and Rayen Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle that failed to stop after impact. The woman was rushed to a local hospital, where she later unfortunately died.

Authorities are offering a reward up to $50,000 for information that may help solve this case.
The identity of the woman has been witheld pending notification of her next of kin.
