Willows, CA (August 25, 2023) – At least one person was killed on Thursday, August 24th, after a fatal collision on Interstate 5 involving three separate semi-trucks. The accident occurred around 2:18 near County Road 39 outside of Willows.
The three big rig trucks collided in the southbound lanes for unknown reasons, causing severe damage to the trucks involved. The lanes were closed for a period of time in order for police to investigate the accident and for the roadway to be cleared.
