Two-Vehicle Crash with Big Rig Kills Man in Pasadena

(Pasadena, CA) A two-vehicle crash kills a man on the 210 Freeway that caused a fire in Pasadena.

California Highway Patrol reports the two-vehicle crash occurred at 4:15 a.m. on the I-210 Freeway in Pasadena where a collision with a big rig truck kills a man.

A pickup truck rear-ended a big rig and caught on fire on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena. A couple of minutes later, a representative from the Los Angeles Office of Medical Examiner visited the scene.

Officials pronounced the victim dead as a result of the big rig collision. CHP issued a SigAlert, closing off the transition road from the westbound 210 Freeway to the Ventura (134) Freeway.
