Wakeen Best Died In North Highlands Pedestrian Accident Along Watt Avenue

NORTH HIGHLANDS, CALIFORNIA (September 14, 2021) – A pedestrian identified as Wakeen Best has tragically died in a hit-and-run car accident on Watt Avenue.

California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place on August 26th. For reasons that remain under investigation a car struck Wakeen Best and then fled the scene.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victim. Sadly, Wakeen Best died due to their injuries.

Police are still searching for the driver. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
