BERKELEY, CA (September 13, 2022) – A 22-year-old Berkeley woman on an electric scooter was injured in an accident involving a car, according to Berkeleyside.
Initial reports say the woman might have sustained a serious head injury as a result of the collision, but her current condition is unknown.
The accident occurred on September 3 at around 12:20 p.m. on College Avenue and Channing Way according to Berkeley Police.
The police department says that a 67-year-old man from Emeryville was driving a Toyota Prius heading south on College Avenue collided with the woman who was heading west on Channing Way.
Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in this crash. Police are still investigating the cause and details of the incident.
